Classmate wa Isekai de Yuusha ni Natta kedo, Ore dake Gendai Nihon ni Okizari ni Narimashita - Interlude 2
Interlude: Those Summoned to Another World 2
"Haaah!"
Amagi swung his gleaming golden holy sword.
A wave of light burst forth from the blade, sending his opponent—a knight responsible for training—flying backward.
"I-I yield! I surrender!"
The knight raised both hands in a clear sign of defeat, prompting another knight, acting as the referee, to raise a flag signaling Amagi’s victory.
"Unbelievable… That’s ten wins in a row!"
"To think he could defeat the captain of the knights so easily…"
Excited murmurs spread among the students watching the match.
As they said, Amagi had fought in ten sparring matches today alone, and he had won every single one—against experienced knights, no less.
It was impossible not to be in awe after witnessing such a display.
"Nice work. I brought you some water and a towel, but I doubt you even need them."
"That was amazing, Seiya-sama!"
As Amagi sheathed his holy sword, two beautiful girls—Rin and Priscilla—rushed over to him.
"No, I’ll gladly take them. Thanks."
"Still, winning ten matches without even breaking a sweat… Seiya, you’re really starting to live up to your title as a hero."
"Even my father said so. He called you ‘the strongest human alive.’"
"Hahaha, that’s a bit of an exaggeration."
Amagi laughed it off as he took a sip of water.
"By the way, Seiya, what level are you now?"
"Let’s see… Just a second."
Saying that, Amagi pulled out a jade-colored crystal from his pocket.
"Status."
As he placed his hand over the crystal and spoke the command, his stats and skills appeared in the air.

"Wow, you’re already level 65!?"
"It’s all thanks to everyone helping me level up. Besides, it seems like the 【Hero】 title makes it easier to gain levels."
"No, this is all because of your own strength, Hero-sama!"
-------------------------------
"Tch, this is so damn annoying."
Meanwhile, a few students watched Amagi with irritation and frustration.
"What the hell is that? He gets all the credit, and we’re just his lackeys?"
"Hey, keep your voice down! If he hears you—"
"Do you have something to say to me?"
As they whispered in the shadows, Amagi suddenly approached with a bright smile.
"N-no, we weren’t complaining or anything! Right, guys?"
"Y-yeah! Of course not. Right, everyone?"
"Is that so? Well, that’s good to hear—"
"Hold it. I’ve had enough of you."
Just as the others tried to smooth things over, one male student, visibly agitated, stepped forward and challenged Amagi.
"I’m sorry if I’ve offended you. So, what do you want me to do?"
"Isn’t it obvious? A duel. If I win, you stop treating us like servants."
"Hmm… I don’t recall ever ordering you to do anything, though."
Amagi chuckled awkwardly but smoothly drew his sword from its sheath.
"Hey, idiot! You don’t stand a chance against him—"
"Shut up! I’m sick of being ordered around!"
The male student pulled out a large knife, gripping it tightly.
"O heavenly gods, grant me greater strength! 『Body Enhancement』!"
As the skill activated, the student charged at Amagi.
Some onlookers sighed in exasperation. Others regretted not stopping him. And some simply sneered, calling his decision reckless.
Amagi, on the other hand, remained calm. He simply shot the boy a cold glare before raising his sword.
"O almighty god, deliver your judgment upon him. 『Lightning Magic』."
Using his holy sword as a catalyst, Amagi unleashed a 『Lightning Magic』 spell.
Even in a world where 『Healing Magic』 could mend most injuries, the sheer power behind the attack was clearly excessive.
"Gah…!"
The male student, struck directly by the lightning magic, collapsed face-first onto the ground, smoke rising from his body with the stench of burnt flesh.
"Looks like I win. Well then, I hope you’ll continue… cooperating with me."
With that, Amagi turned away and walked back to Rin and Priscilla.
"As expected of you, Seiya. Even after eleven consecutive matches, you’re not even out of breath."
"As I thought, Hero-sama is truly the divine messenger sent by the heavens to save us!"
"No, no, I’m not that great."
Meanwhile, the defeated male student’s few remaining allies desperately tried to heal him with potions and recovery magic.
It was clear to everyone that if he didn’t receive proper treatment, he would die.
Yet, none of the other students or knights stepped in to help.
The reason was obvious—anyone who defied Amagi’s version of justice would meet the same fate.
Over the past two years, the relationships among the summoned students had changed drastically.
At first, when they were all inexperienced in battle, they had stood united. But as time passed, a clear divide emerged—between the Hero and everyone else.
Eventually, Amagi and those under his influence came to dominate not only their party but everything surrounding it in the name of his justice.
The students were now split into three groups.
- The Core Faction, a small but devoted group who worshipped Amagi’s power.
- The Outcasts, those like the defeated male student who refused to submit and were forced into menial labor.
- The Majority, those who used Amagi’s authority to oppress the Outcasts for their own benefit.
This structure only served to further inflate Amagi’s ego, worsening his self-centered personality.
----------------------------------
A smirk unconsciously formed on Amagi’s lips.
He had become the strongest human. Even if he returned to his original world, he would reign supreme being who could wield power however he pleased.
But Amagi didn’t know.
That in the world he longed to return to, there existed someone stronger than him.
Someone they had long since forgotten.
And soon, Amagi would come face to face with that person.
At this moment, he remained unaware of the fate that awaited him.
Niice bringing them back is a cool idea
